I added a dragon in photoshop. It's pretty cool.  It's about to take us away.

These pictures above show me working on my pastel project and the finished product.  We had bottles, fruit, and other decorations in front of us on our tables to recreate using pastels.  It got all over my hands but it was really fun.
This picture shows me working on my clay pot.  We drew the shape we wanted on a piece of paper, cut it out and used it as a template for cutting out the clay.  Then we used bowls as molds to form a shape for our pots.  After that, we added designs to it and painted it with red paint.  Then Mr. Sands put them in the kiln and we added glaze when they came out to make them shiny.

lights

We created these light pictures by setting the camera shudder on eight seconds.  We drew in the air with glow sticks and the shudder let in all of the light.  Sam got struck by lightning, I shot a basketball, got traced, created a heart, and shot a gun!

perspective pictures

Here you see forced perspective pictures taken around campus.  In the first picture, Brianna and Sam are "pushing my head" but they are actually really far away.  In the second picture, I am "painting with a large brush" but its actually a poster on the wall.  In the third, Brianna is "trying not to get eaten by Kelly" but shes actually way down the hall not near Kelly.  In the fourth picture I am "walking up the rail" but I am actually at the bottom of the stairs.  Finally, in the last picture, Brianna is "holding up the second floor" but shes on the stairs.  Forced perspective is really fun!

monsters

Here is Lisa, the monsters drawn by Devin, a kindergartener.  Lisa has curly hair and four arms.  We recreated the monsters drawn into sculptures and then painted them after they were cooked in the kiln.  Mine just got out of the kiln so I just now painted it. When my monster is done, I will send it back to Devin and she/he will be a happy kindergartener.

Here are my stencil pictures ^

First, i cut some wood and nailed it to make a nice picture frame.  I then painted that and put cardboard on the bottom and painted the cardboard.  I printed off a picture of a dolphin and made a stencil!!! I used some lace to make a background design for my stencil and then i spray painted my dolphin!  I thought this project was really fun because i liked painting and it felt great outside!
